A Conversation with Jen Spencer, Booth & Partners’ New Chief Growth Officer

Chief Growth Officer - Booth & Partners

We are thrilled to officially welcome Jen Spencer to the Booth & Partners team as our first-ever Chief Growth Officer! Jen is a visionary leader with a passion for scaling businesses that lead with both performance and purpose. To celebrate her arrival, we sat down with Jen to discuss her vision for the company, her philosophy on growth, and what excites her most about this new chapter.

Q: Jen, welcome to the team! What drew you to Booth & Partners at this point in your career?

Jen: Thank you! I was immediately drawn to the authenticity of Booth & Partners’ mission. In today’s market, many companies talk about purpose, but Booth & Partners lives it. Achieving B Corp certification isn’t easy; it’s a public commitment to balancing people, planet, and prosperity. I saw a company at a key inflection point—one with a solid foundation, a clear identity, and an incredible opportunity for explosive, intentional growth. The chance to help write that next chapter was simply too exciting to pass up.

Jen Spencer - Booth & Partners

Q: You have an incredible track record of scaling companies. What is your core philosophy on growth?

Jen: My philosophy is simple: “We’re all in this together.” True, sustainable growth often means hitting revenue targets, but it’s also about investing in people. That’s been the common thread in my work, whether it was fostering an award-winning culture at SmartBug or helping empower women to step into leadership through my work with organizations like #GirlsClub and Legacy Executive Club. Growth comes from creating an environment where people feel supported and have the confidence to excel. That’s the kind of growth I intend to foster here.

Q: In addition to your executive roles, you advise innovative startups like Graphio.ai and iCustomer.ai. How does that experience influence your work?

Jen: Advising startups keeps me on the cutting edge of technology and GTM strategy. And my work with Graphio.ai and iCustomer.ai has reinforced a core belief: the best technology amplifies human potential, it doesn’t replace it. I’m passionate about building AI solutions that keep a ‘human in the loop’—tools that empower managers and make teams more effective. This human-centered approach to technology is exactly what I’m bringing to Booth & Partners. Our client-facing platforms will be built on this principle, using smart, supportive AI to augment the world-class human talent our clients already rely on.

Q: As Chief Growth Officer, your role is comprehensive. What are you most excited to tackle first?

Jen: I’m excited to build a truly integrated growth engine. My first priorities are focused on expansion and innovation. We are charting a course to expand our talent reach to 190 more countries, which will be transformative for our clients’ ability to scale globally. We’re also developing the company’s first self-service technology platform to enhance the client experience. And of course, I can’t wait to deepen our engagement with our CSR partners like 1% for the Planet and Climate Neutral. That work is central to who we are.

Q: Beyond your impressive professional life, what are you passionate about on a personal level?

Jen: I’m deeply passionate about community. Earlier this year, I founded a group called GATHER here in Arizona to bring people together for respectful conversation and local action. For me, making a positive impact starts at home. And when I’m not working or volunteering, you can probably find me enjoying my other passions: the arts, my animals, and a good Scotch to celebrate the wins, big and small.
